I have a question as to the estimated annual cost or damage caused by PD to winegrapes grown in California. In 1999 the North Coast Pierce's Disease Task Force conducted a survey in three counties (Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino) and concluded that PD losses totaled $46 million, including both direct expenditures and losses due to decreased crop production and land taken out of production.  Is anyone aware of more recent information or estimates?
